My journey
I'm María Nela Tortolero, a Business Administration graduate with a background in Marketing and more than 30 years as an insurance professional.
I started in this industry very young, and over time I understood my work was never only about policies, coverage, or numbers. It's about people. Mothers who want to protect their children. Workers who have built a life through effort. Families who need guidance to make an important decision without fear of getting it wrong.
A story that is also personal
I also know what it means to start over in another country. As an immigrant, I've had to learn different systems, adapt, and move forward while building a new chapter for my family and myself. That's why I understand the worry many Hispanic families feel when facing unfamiliar terms, complicated documents, or financial decisions that can shape their future.
That personal experience became part of my professional mission.
